Camus let out a long-suffering sigh, pushing the rim of his glasses back up to the bridge of his nose from where they had slid down. His pale blonde hair sported a half up, half down due that day (the style he usually adorned when he was either reading or studying), and he wore a navy blue, button up, long sleeved shirt he had conveniently rolled up to his elbows (while leaving the top couple buttons undone to expose a small portion of his chest) with casual white suit pants and dark dress shoes accompanying it. As per instructed by Shining, the Count was on his way to the foyer in order to greet a new comer to the Master Course. His name was Kisaragi Aine if he remembered correctly, and he was mentioned to have a stunning resemblance to his band mate Mikaze Ai.
“Of all the foolishness. First I am presented with a hopeless kouhai to train, and now I am degraded to nothing less than a babysitter.”
The moment Camus stepped out into the foyer, his icy blue eyes instantly locked onto a man ogling at the enormity and beauty of the building. Of course the Master Course Dorms of Saotome Gakuen were exquisite – the president, Shinning, would have nothing less. The Count just hoped that the man he was destined to approach would be less of a challenge than the insolent prince who was surely skipping out on that day’s assignments. Walking forward, Camus was somewhat surprised to find that the young man did indeed hold a strong resemblance to Ai. His hair was a few shades darker than his band mate’s, much more sloppy looking and unkempt, and his eyes were a darker, more defined blue than Ai’s cyan ones. Though they were about the same height, Kisaragi was much, much thinner – appearing to be merely skin stretched tight over bone.
“You must be Kisaragi. Be grateful for I, Camus, have been asked to be your escort around the premises today. I have also been advised to offer assistance should you need it. Come. I will begin by showing you to your room – which, evidently, happens to be shared with myself and another by the name of Aijima Cecil. You are familiar with the workings of the Master Course, are you not? I have been assigned to you as your senpai. Senpai/Kouhai assignments are absolute. As your senpai, I will be mentoring you in the way of the idol. I expect all assignments given to be completed promptly and returned to me. I sincerely hope you are more determined to learn the way of an Idol than your incompetent peer.”
A deep, stern voice snapped Aine out of his deep thoughts, and he turned to greet the sharp-looking man, Camus, who introduced himself as Aine’s senpai. He held a powerful but elegant air around him, and judging by the way he dressed and spoke, Aine assumed Camus was of some noble blood. The former idol looked down at his own wrinkled, white dress shirt and faded gray jeans with a tinge of embarrassment. Because he was discharged out of the hospital as of three hours ago, Aine had no time to buy himself any new clothes before moving in.
Nonetheless, if someone had seen these two, it would have looked like a scene out of the Prince and the Pauper. Aine, being the pauper of course.
Interestingly, it appeared that this was the first time in his life that Aine had met Camus, but the way the other man eyed him very familiarly yet spoke to him like a stranger, puzzled the teal-haired man. He lowered his head and bowed to Camus in respect.
“Yes, I am Kisaragi Aine,” he replied quietly, “I am very grateful to have you as my senior, Camus.”
“I am afraid I do not remember anything about the Master Course, as I have just recovered from a horrible accident a few years ago. So I ask of you to please bear with me. I shall do my best to satisfy your requirements.”
