The young blonde had been asleep for what seemed like eternity and he was beginning to stir. The pale light from outside the window and the false illuminescence of the light from within the building began to penetrate the darkness within in his slumber. His brilliant green eyes began to flutter opened and his head looked around sluggishly as he came to. His vision was blurred at first and he saw many smudges of grey and white but as he looked to his side smudges of teal and light blue became mixed in and he squinted his eyes in confusion. This did no help to his vision though.
“Huh…?” he asked allowed as his eyes squinted more to try to see the visitor he had. Was it his senpai?
Eventually his vision had begun to return to normal and he saw the longer locks of teal hair. Natsuki smiled as wide a smile as he could muster up, “Ne!Ai-senpai!” he said groggily yet excitedly, “You came to visit me?” he questioned him gratefully.
The visitor looked at him confused and he tilted his head ever so slightly, “What’s wrong Ai-senpai?” he asked him with raised brows.
The bright-yellow adorable duck plushie that stared at him, triggered the grief of the memory he remembered of that innocent, sweet companion he lost.
But this also made him realize that the path to his memories would not be too far.
Aine was lost in his thoughts, he let a startled gasp when the blonde teen woke up and greeted him.
“Ah! I’m sorry. I walked into your room by accident and couldn’t help but notice your plushie…” he spoke hastily. However, a wave of confusion came upon him as the boy greeted him enthusiastically, as if he was already familiar.
“Um, do I know you…?” he asked, nervously running his hand through his teal hair.
