Camus quickly picked up Aine’s change in attitude after mentioned Reiji, causing the Count to quickly glance over at his Kouhai before turning away once again. Had the two met previously before and the mention of his band mate’s name had brought unpleasant feelings to Aine’s chest? Whatever the case was for his Kouhai’s unexpected reaction wasn’t of any concern to the Count – as long as the young man knew how to listen and had his work completed when Camus wanted it, that’s all the Count would concern himself with.

“I understand you have scant amounts of personal possession on you, correct?”

Taking another sip of his tea, he tried to decide where to take the boy first. Of course, he had said they would go shopping before heading towards the studio in order to test his abilities – but on second thought, Camus decided to let Aine choose what he preferred to do first thing.

“I’ll give you the choice. Would you like to go shopping? Or would you like to go to the studio?”

Aine stared blankly into his teacup, before pulling his attention back. He had not met Reiji yet, so there was nothing to fear.

Just not yet.

“Yes? Ah… yes, I don’t have much on me,” he thought closely between the two choices. As much as he want to go down to the studio to sing, the only possessions he had with him were the clothes on his back, his IDs, his journals, and a bunch of medication.

Today was probably the only day he would be able to get things. Aine would be able to go to the studio anytime after as he would adjust here.

“I think I’ll go shopping for today. I would probably be busy in the next few days adjusting, so it’s best to get everything now.”
