Three years ago? That was approximately the same time Ai was created. The chances of it being coincidental was 1 in 503. It was very possible that it was only by chance that these two events happened After all, a car accident happened about every 5 seconds.
“Ah, I see.” The robotic idol repeated, for a lack of a better phrase. He had a difficult time understanding the concept of sympathy, as well as other emotions. Though the teen, knew that he was supposed to how some form of pity for the tealette before him. “I’m sorry to hear that.” He said, attempting to apply as much ‘sympathy’ his mechanics can allow, which wasn’t much sadly.
The next line that came out of the other’s mouth, really baffled the robot. But I think, Mikaze… that meeting you isn’t a coincidence at all. There was no such thing as fate, as far as Ai understood. Everything in the world are random variables, where events happen only through a coincidental basis. Much like evolution, where mutation would occur on random points in a strand of DNA, that could affect the species survival rate. Coincidence, not fate.
“What do you mean? There was a percentage of 58% that someone would hear me rehearse, with a 34% chance that they’d come investigate. By chance, you where that one person who did both. Therefore, this meeting was a coincidence.” He corrected the other, with his usual stoic expression. After all, there was no evidence that this meeting was anything other than luck.
Aine didn’t seem to notice the slightly indifferent tone to Ai’s sympathy. Even he had noticed, the accident was long past overdue for sympathy, and Aine didn’t care.
He only cared about what he needed to find out.
“Percentage…?" The older tealette fell silent, not sure what to make out of the other’s logical explanation. He was baffled at how calculative Ai was, almost like a machine. Yet, Aine wasn’t ready to rule this out as a "mere coincidence.”
“Well, Mikaze, what was the percentage of us looking alike? Sharing almost the same voice? Sharing almost the same first name?” Aine pointed out, “I… I can’t believe that this is a coincidence at all."

“Then think of it as my gratitude for taking me here then,” Aine replied back dryly. His annoyed feeling returned back...
