Natsuki chuckled quietly to himself, “Ne, don’t apologize! I love visitors~” he chimed back at the tealette through his messy locks of hair. He cblinked a few times tiredly, the anesthesia still working it’s way out of his system.
“And please call me, Natsuki, or Nacchan~” he said tenderly, yet excitedly. A bright smile lit up his shimmering green eyes through the waves of his platinum blonde bangs.
As he processed Aine’s point about Piyo-chan, he looked down at the duckling plush, “Ne, I love Piyo-chan but I have many more at home. It would be no problem to share~” he said truthfully as he still beamed up at the visitor. It was like he wore a never ending smile upon his lightly tanned features.
“Are you sick, Aine-chan? You don’t look injured to me,” Natsuki began as he looked over the man before him. His gaze rested on his pale blue locks. He couldn’t get over how they reminded him of sea foam and that made him grin internally. He wondered if Aine was as bubbly as the gurgling sea.
A small blush painted Aine’s pale cheeks at Natsuki’s eagerness to give him the duck plushie.
“If… it’s alright with you, Shino- Natsuki-kun, then I guess…” he said, with a bit of hesitation. In truth, he actually did want to keep Piyo-chan, if it would serve as a memento to his lost pet. He pulled a chair over by Natsuki’s bed, curious to start a conversation. It was more preferable than going back to his room.
“I’m not exactly sick…” the tealette began to explain, “I just have a rare case of amnesia that my doctors want to check up. I guess you could say it’s an injury to the brain from an accident I had a few years ago.”
Aine scratched his head awkwardly, uncomfortable talking about himself when he knew so little. He decided to change the subject.
“If you don’t mind if I ask… how did you get injured, Natsuki-kun?”
