Reiji hummed to himself as he headed down the hall. He ran his hand along the wall, touching the various ornaments that decorated the otherwise plain space. He was heading to no particular destination, just randomly roaming the halls in hopes of finding something to occupy his time. 

As he continued on his roaming, a shocking smell hit his senses, Reiji paused and tilted his head up, sniffing the air as he tried to figure out the smoky smell. It was familiar in a strange way, what could it…OH!

The brunette ran down the hall and burst into the kitchen where the smell of burning food came from. He didn’t register the teal haired teen sitting at the table as he jogged over to the microwave and quickly opened the door, coughing and waving at the smoke that came out. 

“Anno, what a waste.” Reiji muttered, throwing the burnt food in the trash. He finally looked around the kitchen and saw the teal haired teen. Instantly  Reiji concluded that it was Ai, though he was slightly confused since Ai wasn’t the type of person to mess up anything. 

“Ne, Ai-Ai,” Reiji called, stepping over to the younger male and shaking his shoulder. “It’s bad to leave stuff in the microwave for to long. The macaroni got burned.”

Aine hadn’t intended to pass out on the table, but that was the result of many sleepless nights thanks to insomnia and hunger. However, he felt someone shake his shoulder and snapped out of his sleepy stupor. The faded burnt smell hit his nose and he realized something.

“Oh no! My macaroni!” he yelped and flung up, only to bump heads into someone. Hard. “Ow!”

Rubbing his head, Aine winced and realized immediately he wasn’t alone. He blinked and turned to see a man with shoulder-length brown hair standing next to him, also rubbing his head in pain. 

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry…!” the tealette immediately apologized, “I passed out and forgot about my lunch! I didn’t mean for the macaroni to burn!”
