Aidentity Crisis [Aine & Ai]

mikazeaiai:

Ai’s head continued to ache as another voice entered his mind space. I’m… I’m scared. I’m scared of you…! I’m scared of you and these feelings… Leave me alone! Those words were definitely not his. Admist the pain, he was able to match the voice to the male’s before him. Why would he be able to hear the other’s thoughts? More importantly, why did those words seems so familiar?

Reluctantly peeking through his tightly shut eyelids to check on the tealette, the agonizing headache suddenly subsided. The cyanette blinked a few times, while taking in deep breaths and checking to make sure his system was not affected by the strange occurrence. When everything was in check, he lowered his hand away from his head and looked at the tealette lying on the carpeted floor. When did the other faint?

Panicking slightly from the sight, the teen rushed over to the older man’s side and placed a hand on his neck, measuring the other’s heart rate and make sure his vitals are alright. Everything with the tealette seemed fine, except for the fact that he was unconscious. Since he was a senior and the other was a junior, it was only appropriate for him to worry about the other’s health.

Ai quickly lifted the other man, with ease, in a princess-carry and quickly rushed out the door. Students in the long hallway stared at the idol as he carried the unconscious man to the infirmary, but the cyanette paid no attention to them. After kicking down, and nearly breaking, the infirmary’s door, Ai laid the tealette on one of the soft, white beds that were lined up along one side of the room. Unfortunately for Ai, the doctor was not in.

“Looks like I’ll have to watch after him for a while…” Ai sighed, “Camus owes me.”

It was only 15 minutes later, Aine suddenly woke up, realizing he had passed out. It must have been when he saw black. Gingerly, he put a hand to his forehead, assessing the situation.

“Was that… a memory…?” he murmured to himself quietly, “That was… painful.”

The teal-haired man absolutely had no clue what triggered his head to go into pain like that. It wasn’t just a physical pain he had suffered; Aine felt his heart was heavy, ready to explode in pieces. It was almost as if his couldn’t hold onto any more feelings, instead wanting to break.

Were those my feelings…?

Sighing, Aine was glad that pain was gone. Then it finally dawned to him that Mikaze was still in the room. Where was he anyways?

“Ah… Mikaze, where am I? Did you carry me when I passed out?” he questioned his stoic look-alike curiously.
