The blonde held his arm for a moment again and then he looked at Aine, his smile returning to his face, “Ne, I got so excited I forgot~” he said as another soft chuckle left his lips.
His smile faded momentarily seeing the empty look upon his face and he leaned toward him, ” Ne, Aine chan~” he started, ” you shouldn’t frown~. It’s not good for you to frown~! After all you have me and Piyo-chan here to make you smile! “
Another throaty chuckle escaped his lips as he half winked at him. He rested back against the series of pillows behind him for support.
“And I bet you have a lot of friends…. and if you can’t remember, I’m sure you had a lot of them before~ You seem like a wonderfully radiant person, ne~!” He said as he readjusted his glasses with his free, uncasted hand.
He was having so much fun and he hoped that Aine didn’t have to leave soon. He was very content with his new friend.
“If… they were still my friends, wouldn’t they have visited me?” he muttered softly. Letting out a sigh, Aine ran his fingers through his teal hair, unsure what to make out of the thought. He gave a faint smile at Natsuki’s advice and chuckled.
“Okay, okay, I’ll try not frown. It’s an unbecoming habit of mine.”
The tealette finally glanced at the clock and realized his appointment time was almost over. Some part of him felt disappointed that he would be leaving the blonde alone, but another part of him felt relieved to leave the hospital.
“I think it might be time for me to go, Natsuki-kun. My doctors are probably looking for me.”
