Darkness. Everything was just dark. The boy felt as though his metallic body was floating in this dark space. There was a light further up ahead. Ai’s read somewhere, that this was a typical scene that played out when one dies. So, he’s ‘dead’, huh? Looked like he wasn’t able to delete the virus in time and had consumed him. He never thought a machine like him could even feel the effects of ‘afterlife’. The robot always thought that after he ‘died’ everything would just be blank. Seeing as there was nothing else in this dark, empty space, Ai walked (or rather floated) towards the light.
As the boy reached the light, ocean appeared beneath him. He turned his head back to see if he would be able to return, but all he could see was ocean and fog. Well, this was unexpected. A voice suddenly called out deep within the mist. It sounded familiar, but the cyanette couldn’t quite make out who it was.
Following the sound, Ai saw a familiar teal haired man. Kisaragi Aine. Yeah, that was his name. “You…” The boy said, unenthusiastic to see the other. Why did he have to meet this person, of all people, in the ‘afterlife’?
Fighting his way through the thick mist, Aine squinted his eyes and finally spotted a figure. As he moved closer, he was taken aback. Was that himself?
No wait.
It was Mikaze Ai. Although the two of them were on “sociable” terms, it didn’t necessarily mean they favored the other.
But being stuck with him rather than alone in an ocean he feared was more favorable.

“…Mikaze. Where are we?” His mind began to throb painfully; he was beginning to see a blurry image of yellow, but couldn’t quite remember. Why did it hurt trying to remember?
“What happened last night?”
