Reiji stumbled back as his head was hit, his hands instantly flying up to rub at the pain. He never knew someone could have such a hard head. It was almost deadly.
Recovering from the initial shock and pain, the brunette glanced up and gave a wry smile. “Ha-ha, it’s okay, but it’s not like you to forget something like that.” Now that Reiji thought about it, it wasn’t like to Ai to act all flustered either. And to apologize! Well the teal haired teen can apologize but usually when Ai does it sound artificial and not all that genuine.
The maraca player furrowed his eyebrows and rested his hands on his hips as he leaned in closer to the male before him. “Ne, are you feeling well? You’re acting very strange.” Reiji tilted his head to the side and his frown deepened. There was just something off. The person before him looked just like Ai, but the mannerism were different and there was subtle differences in his appearance. “Are you getting sick Ai-Ai?”
“Eh? I’m fine, just a little bit hungry.” Aine blinked at the stranger. He was still disappointed over the loss of lunch and sighed. Maybe he would be able to burn heat another box of macaroni and cheese.
He tilted his head in confusion at the nickname Ai-Ai. Why was this person calling him a nickname so familiarly? Who was he? In his hungry, slightly tired, and confused state, he could not recall any names to this person.
“Um, I really apologize, but do I know you? I never gave you my name.”
