Ai turned around as he heard shuffling coming from the bed. He had just places his shirt on the doctor’s chair to dry ans refilled the cup of water for the tealette. The cyanette saw Aine come out from behind the curtains, bare chested. The other’s frailness was more prominently shown, as his rib bones were outlined behind his pale skin.
Has this man been so malnourished that he’s practically skin and bones. When Aine handed him his shirt and offered it to him, the cyanette outright refused the offer. “No thank you, Aine. You should keep it on. You don’t want to catch a cold and make your condition worse.” Ai informed, not wanting to be responsible for anything that might happen to the tealette.
“Ah?” Aine looked down at his hands and wrists and noticed the sharp outlines of bones through his skin. He hadn’t realized he had become so frail, almost easy to break. Being unconscious for almost 3 years had its toll on him, but he was better off now than he was months ago. Nonetheless, this realization saddened him; time had flown by while he was asleep, leaving him in despair and confusion.

“I’m… I’m fine…” he muttered, tossing the shirt to Mikaze, “I don’t want to be weak-bodied forever. I might have just woken up, but there’s a dream I want to catch. Therefore, I have to endure and be stronger.”
