Aine Kisaragi bristled in the cold as he walked to his afternoon classes on a chilly December day. This season was probably the worst winter he had faced. It was just his luck that the heater in the dorm room he shared with his best(?) friend Reiji Kotobuki had broken down. His best friend didn’t mind the change in temperature nonetheless; but Aine wasn’t happy with their dire situation at all. He was never fond of the wintertime; although the snow was a pretty sight to see, his body couldn’t welcome the cold. The teal haired teenager often turned ill from the weather since he was young, even now as a young adult.

He shivered, trying to pull up his collar higher, muttering curses over his stolen scarf. Aine had an inkling that Reiji could have borrowed it without telling him; he was probably going to choke the brunette later out of his sheer grumpiness. Maybe if their friend Kei felt merciful to Reiji today, he would calm down Aine before the tealette would actually make Reiji’s maracas into not-so-harmless instruments of pain, rather than music. It was a wonder to how Reiji was his best friend.
Sighing a breath of relief as he felt the warmth of the building grow stronger, Aine walked down to his class. He was 15 minutes early and ready for his lesson, homework all finished. But as the perfectionist student stepped into the classroom, he noticed there appeared to be something laying on his desk aside from the window. He blinked in surprise to find that it was his missing blue scarf. Picking up the delicate fabric, a small piece of paper fluttered out in the corner of his eye. He leaned down to pick it up off the ground.

“What’s this?”
