“I didn’t realise that Camus-senpai had talked about me.” Nanami replied, seeming to be confused to why he would talk about her. The girl had talked to him, sure; but they were always short, and bland. Maybe he didn’t like how she looked? Whatever the reason could have been, she brushed it off and just kept moving.
Though she couldn’t help herself from giving him a bright smile when he talked about her music. Of course, if he really did want, she could show him her composings, or even listen in to one of STARISH’s recordings. And when Aine’s facial expression showed hints of sadness, Nanami had started to worry that she tapped into something too deep for him. Especially for the practical strangers that the two were.
“I-I’m so sorry Aine-kun..! Y-You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want..! I feel bad.. for bringing it up..”
The composer fixed her posture, before she went to give him a deep bow. It was one of the few things she could do to apologize for such a mistake she made.
“I asked Camus-senpai about everyone here,” Aine chuckled lightly back her. “Who wouldn’t appreciate your effort to compose your songs for seven people at a time?”
Something about the composer seemed familiar to him; he did not know her fully yet, but he sensed her passion for song composing.
Where did this feeling come from?
“Aine-kun, please sing my song.”
Aine blinked, hearing a distant voice in his head from long ago. He placed his fingers on his forehand, as if trying to catch the elusive memory, but it faded, fleeing from his mind.
What was that?

“It’s fine, Nanami-san,” he spoke gently, putting his hand down to his lap. A small smile returned to his face and he shook his head again. He shouldn’t worry her; it was his problem.

“At the very least, I can experience old things as if it was the first time again. That’s not so bad now, isn’t it?”
