Hearing mermaid, Natsuki blinked over to him from his gaze at the window. Mermaids? A bright smile encased his features, “Aine-chan is a mermaid?!“ Natsuki cried out with exctiment. His imagination began to go wild. Maybe Aine was trying to find a way to get back to the ocean? No! No! Maybe he was just relearning how to sing after he lost his voice to an evil witch?
With each of these possibilities considered, Natsuki leaned toward the tealette with curiousity, “Ne, Aine-chan, are you relearning how to sing? D-di you meet an evil witch who was jealous of your capabilities?” He aske.d
His longing to be out int he warmth that the sun had to offer his radiant being was completely disregarded until Aine reasked him about wanting to go outside. This possibility of sharing the sun’s warmth with his new friend, made a very geniune, tender smile cnase his soft features.
“I would like that alot, Aine-chan…” he answered as he flicked some hair from his glowing emerald’s way as he tilted his head slightly in happiness,“ that would be fun~”

“I don’t really know, but it’s a possibility,” Aine spoke softly, but smiled at the blonde’s active imagination. "But maybe we’ll find out the answer to that someday.“
"Come on, let’s go outside, Natsuki-kun.”
Pulling a wheelchair from the corner, he wheeled over to the blonde’s bed. He held out a frail hand to the younger male, to help him out of the hospital bed.
“It’s a really sunny day!”
Aine also looked forward to go outside also; the hospital always made him feel anxious. It would make him feel a lot better if he was able to enjoy his time outside with his new friend.
