“…Was this mansion always here?”
“This is kind of creeping me out…” The tealette stared over the abandoned, worn-out building that he was about to enter in. Recently, he heard from the younger idols that they found an interesting place to explore. All this vacation, Aine hadn’t done anything worth relaxing because he highly disliked the beach, so this was an interesting surprise for him.
However, he wished he had gone with someone. Many of the others were on the beach and he didn’t want to waste their time asking. He wasn’t afraid either; but a just a little nervous in case of anything happening in an abandoned ‘haunted’ mansion.
Aine took a deep breath before taking a step forward at the doorstep.
“Well, there’s no point to be afraid.”
Turning the knob of the unlocked, heavy double-sided doors, Aine pushed them open to meet with dust in his face.
“Ah, dusty…” He scanned around the room, blinking at the furniture covered in white blankets, gathering dust. Knickknacks laid aligned on small tables; fingerprints already smudged by earlier explorers.
The teal-haired man moved further down the vacant rooms, and almost jumped when he past by himself. “Mikaze?!”
The reflection mimicked him, and Aine realized he was staring into a mirror, at his own self. He looked across the hallway to notice that the entire hallway was covered in a mirror. Perhaps this might be the rumor why there was ghosts: if he had traveled at night with only a flashlight in hand, then he would have been frightened by his own reflection.
In other countries… they called it a doppelgänger. He had forgotten what was the legend behind them though.
Suddenly, he heard a small tinkling from upstairs… was that… a melody?
Was somebody here?
