the sunset is always beautiful
across the horizon of the sea
but it’s never the same without you there
and the darkness swallows the light
grains of sand fall through my weaving fingers
like an hourglass counting each second of life
but knowing you… I’m sure with all my heart
you’ll create your own sunset
for me and everyone you love to see
