❣ - An unpopular opinion I have
Mm, I usually keep these kinds of opinions to myself, but I do have a few. In my honest opinion, I’m a bit frustrated that people just glance at the surface of a character and assume how they’re like, than rather understanding even just a little, that a character can be more than that too. I’m saying this because I feel that way about the fandom’s perception of Aine. Personally, I don’t like the assumption that Aine is JUST depressing and super angsty. I’ve heard it many times and it just makes me really annoyed now. I know he’s not a solid character, but certainly, there are many ways to look at him. Yes, his story is tragic. Yes, we should feel sorry for him. But no, that does not really label him as forever depressing and forever angsty. My personal opinion: People need to watch out how they label characters. orz
