Gender Headcanon: Cis Male but WELL you see recently I was thinking of Aine as a demiboy… not exactly male emotionally?? Given his soft voice and most of the songs I headcanon by his VA are kind of, in a feminine perspective and sensitivity, I just started to feel that way about him. Though that’s only been a thought mostly. edit: genderfluid is what i was looking for yeah
A ship I have with said character: ReiAine, KeiAine; but boy do I sure love departing my OTPs to break my heart even more in a good way.
A BROTP I have with said character: OB group (Reiji, Kei, Hibiki) and Ai
A NOTP I have with said character: Hakase… for obvious reasons.
A random headcanon: -laughs that a majority of my headcanons have become canon- Okay but one of my favorite ones I like to headcanon is that his birthday is at the end of February, before Ai’s birthday because his last name is Kisaragi, which is the month of February. The reason why it’s on the last day is because Ai’s birthday is on the first day of March. So the last day of February transitions to the first of March. From Aine, came Ai. (’: Sometimes, I also expand on this too and put Aine’s birthday on the 29th of February making it a leap year birthday. Reason: Hakase tried to finish building Ai on February 29th, Aine’s birthday, but wasn’t able to and that’s why Ai was “born” on March 1st. (However I don’t use that particular leap year headcanon much anymore since it’s a bit excessive)
General Opinion over said character: Long rant ahead (’:  tldr; aine pls be happy i want to protect and love u and broccoli took 2 fucking years to tell us you were already awake i cant believe

A BROTP I have with said character: Quartet Night… Though that’s a bit of a stretch with Camus lmao. But I’m defs sure they all can agree big brother Reiji is an idiot. :3c Brotp with Masato and Ren since their childhood together seems fun and Masato and Ren really do look up to him (remember when Ranmaru was teaching Masato to yell “ROCK!” lmao)
A NOTP I have with said character: I feel the same about Ranmaru just like Ai and Camus; it’s hard to ship him with anyone. A romantic relationship with Ranmaru, if he even allows a bonding, needs to go through a lot of development and stability, in order for him to be emotionally and romantically attached to his partner. And preferably someone quiet, but bold enough to lower his walls. *looks at your Ranmaru and Soli’s Tokiko*
A random headcanon: I feel if he ever saw Natsuki glomp a bear, he would be mildly impressed.
General Opinion over said character: I used to be neutral with him in the beginning, but I’ve honestly grown to respect Ranmaru so much. Especially his pride in rock music and as a professional idol. I just wish people would stop jumping to ship him so fast… for god sake’s… he’s a lone wolf, people. OTL

☠: A popular fanon headcanon about my character that bugs me

outofdreams; Hmm… this is a tricky question since well, whenever we concern Aine we concern me most of the time lmao. And lot of Aine headcanons in the fandom were written by me. So I’ll just list a few things, assumptions???

Well the first thing I dislike sort of is that some people assume Aine *ACTUALLY* blames/hates Reiji or that Reiji is the complete reason why he disappeared. No. And no. Aine NEVER blamed Reiji for anything. It was just a big misunderstanding and sometimes I’m afraid of Aine being portrayed as vengeful when he’s not at all. (It might be because Debut implied he and Reiji were in a fight before he disappeared but All Star changed it. That was before he existed as the character Aine Kisaragi).

Ai’s route implies that Aine disappeared because he was hurt by the music he loved so much. He’s just a gentle person who loves music so much and the weight of the dream he shared with Reiji crushed him. We don’t know why he called Reiji but the phone call is not the complete reason why Aine disappeared. But he would want his friends to be happy, he even took control of Ai for one moment to say thank you for Kei. ;;

I guess what I also hate isn’t exactly a headcanon but it’s the general assumption that Reiji is aware of Aine’s situation when he’s NOT aware of anything at all except for the fact Aine disappeared until ASAS (which that sort of got cleared up, thanks Broccoli). Lord if he knew, he would be so much worse off than he is.

I also think the other popular(?) Aine headcanon I don’t like is that people think Aine hates Ai for replacing him. I mean, I don’t mind if it was in a roleplay where Ai is assuming that but I’m saying in general. 

Aine doesn’t hate Ai. He was only afraid and scared because Ai’s feelings of love for the heroine reached him since those weren’t his feelings.

I know of course, post-awakening headcanons Aine would have be uncomfortable with the fact that he’s probably living in a robot’s shadow now but like if he honestly hated Ai, then Aine wouldn’t have [SPOILERS] yeah.

And to note, Aine saved Ai when he shut down. So… /closes the book.

MUNDAY QUESTIONS

유 Who was your first muse?

Now that I think about it, I think my first muse were actually Lycoris and Hokuto (forgot who I RP’d first) from .hack//AI buster on Gaia Online. I wanted to roleplay Lycoris in a happier setting because well, she never exactly got that chance in the novels. I always have a small fondness for sad supporting characters and I try to get more in depth with them. ;; 

Hokuto was a great character to roleplay too because I was roleplaying a roleplayer herself. It was so fun and dynamic switching between her real adult self and her masquerade as an immature teenager newbie. I rejoined Tumblr because I wanted to RP her at a .hack RP group.

✌ What is the easiest aspect of playing this muse?

Naturalness and motivation. Out of all my roleplay muses, I’ve roleplayed Aine for almost the longest (Hokuto beats him by a couple of years but I’m on and off with her). I mean, personally as a roleplayer, I can roleplay anything that clicks to me but I can’t hold on blogs long sadly because motivation is really hard to come by. My motivation to roleplay Aine comes from my own personal desire to make him happy and overcome his hardships. I cry every time he finds his happiness. /lays down;;;

to sum it up: i like writing angst to kill everyone’s and my hearts and then breaking the angst with feels for happy endings with aine

☏ What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

Figuring out how he would interact with other characters outside of his circle. To be honest, I don’t think that’s really hard but the challenge is finding the setting of where and why he would interact with them.

_{6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?}

_{Uuuuh, hard choice since I have two songs for Aine but Blue Bird by Aoi Shouta (Yume no Tsuzuki came close). It’s not just because Aine/Ai’s voice actor Shoutan sang it, but the lyrics are meaningful of someone who’s trying to aim for their dream again, and not regret it the second time. I’m sure if Aine is able to realize that the world isn’t a scary place, and with encouragement, he’ll fly again.}

_{29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?}

_{Even though Aine appears and acts like the type to prefer solitude and silence, he hates the quiet loneliness that he imposed on himself. Being surrounded by his friends and the music he loved, his world was never quiet and it made him happy. But when that incident happened, he became scared of all the expectations and his own feelings and it became “noise” that he wanted to block out. But in the end, the silence reminds him that he’s all alone now.}
